APO SNP Stock transfer order (STO) not transferred to ECC

Dear Experts,

Issue - Stock transfer Order (STO) created for multiple materials via SNP was not transferred to ECC due to one material where plant specific status is set to stopped in material master

Query - Do we have any option to skip such faulty materials or error queues while single PO/STO creation?

HI Laxmikant

ECC can not accept a STO if one of the materials is inactive. This is standard. It is not a good idea o go for system/configuration changes for these are there may be regression with others.

You have 2 options.

1. Delete the STO in APO. SInce this may have been pushed from TLB, you can not delete this in TLB any more but you can delete the STO by order number using RLCDELETE and create a new STO without the inactive material.

2. Activate the material that is blocking the STO, let the order come into ECC and have the STO created. Then delete the line item with the material in STO and go back block the item in master data.

Be careful with this as there may be automatic interfaces in ECC that may transmit the STO to other systems and functionalities that may then be creating issues.

My preference is option1. Hope this helps.

Thanks K A for valuable input, also got confirmation for SAP that it is not possible.

Regarding activating post processing queues error - We have option to select "post-processing of error, No Splitting of LUWS" means none of the objects transferred are updated in the target system if an error occurs in the same LUW when an object is being processed, so it will not help.

Did you try with No SNP Relevance in the product master tab Properties - SDP relevance!

Also, you can try with Procurement type - P external procurement!

Thanks, Marius

Hi,

Ok, rephrasing my question

Current Scenario - Single Stock transfer order (STO) is created in APO system for number of materials through SNP deployment and TLB run which then transferred to ECC system for further processing.

Issue- STO was not transferred to ECC due to CIF error "Status Stopped(FERT) of material xyz-01 does not allow external procurement" for single material where plant specific status is set to "Stopped" in material master (MARC-MMSTA)

Query - Is there any option/way to skip this material with error queue while transferring single STO to ECC and create single STO for remaining materials

Please let me know if anything unclear

Hi,

Is post processing queue error activated? Normally the queues errors will be transferred in the post processing.

Also you can try to exclude from your SNP material selection when you run heuristic!

Thanks,

Hi,

Could you please explain your issue clearly.

What do you mean by "Set to stopped in Material Master".

Try this.. Though i havent understood the issue clearly. sorry about that.

Check in ECC--> CFM5 what are the IM models included the parts which you want to exclude.

Find the model which has PO & Preq checked and exclude this part from that IM model.

Note - Doing this will have negative effects when transferring POs from Ecc to APO and other SNP calculations.

Or Try changing the Material's MRP Type other than X0 in ECC and CIF it.

Or exclude the Product from SNP planning run.

Or Try saving the Faulty Queue so that other queues will be processed.

Thanks
