Shipment Tracking for EWM distributed Inbound deliveries

Hi Guys,

We are updating shipment tracking information in Shipment document
under “Transport Tracking” tab under change mode. Here, issue is that tracking
information, system does not allow to update it for the shipment documents which has inbound
deliveries distributed to EWM. Is there any way, to get tracking information in shipment document in such cases

Hi Gene,

Deliveries which distributed to EWM can be changed in VL60 transaction in ECC.

Your shipment information can be updated in DN and in your shipment documents from EWM itself once your shipment activities are completed, there is one IDoc SHPMNT05 for that which updates your shipment information.

Can you please let us know Why do you need to update it manually??

Hi Gene,

Check VL60 Tcode .. hope this will be helpful. IBD in ECC can be changed via VL60 after sending delivery to EWM.

Hi Gene,

As per the standard functionality system will not allow to update any information once inbound delivery was distributed to EWM only option is you have to develop a BADI for this requirement.
