Difference between sapcontrolup.log and /tmp logs

Hi ,

I would like to know the difference between the logs getting stored under /tmp in the EHP upgrade run and sapconsoleup.log

how do they differ.

Please clarify with your inputs..

Hi,

SAPconsoleup.log - Step start time and End time will be recorded in this log

../tmp directory - step wise logs are stored temporarily and once phase is completed those logs will be moved to ../log directory.
