Non SAP To SAP Integration

Hi..All

I have requirement to integrate SAP System with Non SAP System.

For Example:

Consider Third party system ( HR Module) and SAP System(HR Module Learning solutions).

In third party ,users can create Courses it will update in third party-- but we need to update

same in SAP System.

We have options like webservices and consumer proxies...

But any ideal solution - step by step is highly appreciated.
