Cystal Reports:- Displaying Japanese character as garbage values

Hi All,

I am new to crystal reports and my requirement is to create reports for Japanese clients.

My report requires to display Japanese character and these characters comes fine from Database but when i view it in crystal reports it is displayed as garbage values for example as below:-

呼吸困難

眼痛

é ­ç—›

é ­ç—›

The font currently i am using is Arial. I have tried changing the font to Arial Unicode MS, MS Mincho and few others but still the garbage value persists.

Changing the preferred viewing locale also doesn't help.

I have exported the report to Excel and word to check the value but still the same.

Can someone please guide whether i am missing on anything?

Crystal version:- Crystal reports 2011 SP 4 (Full Client)

Access:- Reports are needed to developed on the crystal application through Citrix application.
