How to analyze anonymous logon process and pcd access ?

Hello experts,

These days I try to check the mechanism for an anonymous access of our SAP EP 7.31.

I configured a anonyous access according to https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/cd/1aad4abcb98c4597f9e395a6b62f43/content.htm

This works, e.g. if I navigate to URL iViews.

Then I tried to run anonymous Login with WPC Content (e.g. a start page, central help page, ....).

For this I found http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/837898.

The startup page is developed by WPC .... just a simple bitmap and a title . The portal runs with an AJAX theme. The role, the KM iView template, the desktop and the framework is set to authentication scheme=anonymous. Same to (hopefully) all relevant PCD elements ....

Now I can enter the SAP portal by using <server>:<port>/irj/portal/anonymous.

The framework and the menu appears .... but in the center, the logon dialog appears, too.

I searched a lot of SCN discussions, read a lot of SAP notes ... nothing helped.

Now I am looking for a trace or protocol to analyze the logon and authentification process and the page Rendering process.

Is there a protocol, which shows the reason, why the portal runs not the authentication scheme anonymous.

Any ideas ?

Thank you very much for your interest.

Regards,

Markus
