Issue with Chinese characters in PI interface

Hi,

We have a SOAP to RFC scenario in PI. The RFC used is BAPI_VENDOR_GETDETAIL. Sometimes Chinese characters are appearing when the interface is executed. Is there any way to avoid Chinese characters?

Please explain the reason to "avoid Chinese characters". If source system is sending some data, middle-ware should not delete part of data without proper rational.

Hi Raghu,

I mean to say, Chinese characters should be avoided and should appear in English. One more thing is that, this problem is occurring intermittently. It appears in English sometimes and Chinese sometimes. Not really sure why this is happening.

Please check the RFC destination using SM59 and make sure that the unicode option is checked.

The Unicode option is checked for the required RFC destinations. I have got this setting done after going through some other post on SDN. But the problem still persists.
