Problem in Material Determination

Dear Experts,

I've maintained material determination with T-code: VB11 as follows. Here I have two materials 309151 and 309152. I've stock of material 309151 is 839 cartons and 309152 is 0. When we are going to create Sales order with material no. 309151 and 839 cartons system taking full 839 cartons in sales order but showing material no. 309152.

Would you please advice me how can I resolve this issue.

Hi Ripon,

As per my understanding you want to substitute the material A with B if stock of A is not available. and the same for material B.

So Asper the material- 309152 stock is 0, you want the  material- 309151 to be displayed in order.

1.create a proposed reason  in spro path

2. and maintain the strategy and outcome fields in the proposed reason

3.in vb11 maintain the proposed reason also(in the first screen shot this is missing)

4. now enter the material-309152, hence stock of this material is not available, system will replace this material with 309151.

this may give you the desired result.

HI Ripon, what is the qty you entered in your order and what is it that you are expecting?

Also the first screen you've shared is a bit odd. so you want to substitute material 309151 with 309152 and then the other way around?

if you want to substitute only when there is a stock issue, then you should enter the first line 'entered material 309151 material 309151' instead of 309152
