During PM Order Settlement Characteristic value X does not exist for characteristic WWMKT (Market Segment PF) error is coming.

Good Afternoon Consultants,

During running T-code KO88, I am facing Characteristic value  X does not exist for characteristic WWMKT (Market Segment PF) error.

what exactly the error is all about. How it can be solved.

Please let me know asap since business got stuck. Thanks in advance.

Hi Anil,

In Tcode KES1 maintain the charecterstic value X for the charecterstic WWMKT.

Thanks for the information. That means there is nothing error related with PM Order or any PM related master data.since I checked everything from PM side but not able to find anything.

Hi Anil

You need to define the Char Value X as allowed value in KES1 (OR) see if the value is wrong (In that case change the value)

Thanks for the information. But one thing I am not able to understand what exactly 'X' is and why this error comes since it never comes in any other Order settlement.
