Hello,
I am trying to create an action in order to send an email to the incident processor when the reporter sends a reply, the one found in text log. I am not sure if those are also called messages.
I have found a condition in the SMIN_STD_MAIL_WATCHLIST, that is like this: &NEW_TEXT_FOUND = X and i have used it for my condition. I also selected the schedule automatically and the partner depedent checkbox (with value SLFN0004 - Message processor).
But it doesn't work, and I think it's because of that condition, &NEW_TEXT_FOUND = X. I couldn't find it in the expression builder, that's why I've copied it from SMIN_STD_MAIL_WATCHLIST.
Is there any other expression that I can use when the text log changes?
Hi Bogdan - how did you resolve the issue?
I am trying something similar and figured the &NEW_TEXT_FOUND& = X doesn't work.
thanks,
sid

Hello together,
the condition NEW_TEXT_FOUND is working fine, also when using custom action definitions.
The most important thing is that in the standard procesing class for this action CL_SDK_DOC_PROC_CRM_ORDER->CRM_ORDER_EXEC_SF_WL the table for the watchlist is read to determine the recipient of the notifaction message.
If you do not use the watchlist feature (in case you are working on WEB UI, where it is not available) you can create your copy of the processing class and put in your custom code to determine the partner which should receive the notification (e.g. processor).

Hi,
Condition &NEW_TEXT_FOUND = X is standard condition used in PPF action to find the Text "Reply from SAP" for an OSS message that is raised from SolMan Incident Management.
The requirement you specified can be achieved by custom development. You can use the below functional report for getting the text details.
Execute tcode SA38, run the program CRM_ORDER_READ. Run it for any existing Incident and select below option for your development.
Thanks,
Rakesh B

The weird thing is that if I put the incident in my observer list and i leave a text, than both the standard E-mail to Message Observer and my custom Email to reporter at Text Change get triggered and send an email.
If I remove the incident from my observer list than my custom action doesn't get triggered anymore. So i think there is some connection between that &NEW_TEXT_FOUND = X and the text log, but I can't figure it out.
