Best way to Integrate with SAP MDM via a 3rd Party ESB

Hello,

I have a customer that has an IBM ESB and would like to use it to integrate with SAP MDM.   The IBM ESB is already utilized as an Enterprise ESB including doing most of the integration with SAP application.   Is it possible to use WebServices or other techniquestto integrate with SAP MDM?  thx

Hi John,

SAP MDM supports web service, JAVA api and XML files to integrate with different systems. The former two methods only support inbound scenarios, while XML files method supports both inbound and outbound scenarios. MDM syndication server can generate delta data files automatically and  realtime or sporadically. By using IBM ESB file adapter, you can retrieve these XML files according to a certain frequency. While by using PI (the integration middleware SAP provided) MDM adapter, the files can be    sent in realtime.
