DON'T Re-write Smartform, while Uploading??

Hi Experts,

ThanQ for all ur continous support in getting me into SAP-ABAP.

Here I hv question in Smartforms concept.

I did customisation for a Z_EXISTING Smartform in DEV box, but accidentally I deleted one Folder, which contains many Text nodes.

So, now, I wuld like to have(Smartform) these nodes from QA box of that corresponding Smartform!

So,

1- How to get into this(Smartform) Folder with many Text nodes into DEV box, from QA box with out disturbing my customised Z_EXISITNG Smartform in DEV box, as u know, both the Smartforms in both boxes r possess the same NAME!

So, by renaming Is it achieved(i.e. getting the same Smartform from QA box into DEV box with out re-writing/disturbing my Z_EXISTING smartform of DEV box), while Downloading and Uploading?

If not, What is the solution?

Firstly rename your customized smartform in dev box to some other name.

Download the QA form onto your desktop.

Upload it to your dev box with the same name as in the QA BOX.

Hi,

You can download the smartform subtree from "utilities"--> "download subtree" and same way you can upload the same in

the dev client.And you are there wiht the solution.
