Create contract with Multiple line items

Hi all,

I would like to know the best method of creating a sales contract with 2000 items.It can be either LSMW/BAPI, but want to know the procedure of doing it

as the manual process is bit hectic

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Mano,

You can ask your developer to write a report for creating the contract. You need to create an input file with data required and you can run the program. I have used so many reports for creating orders and contracts.

To upload multiple line item using bapi BAPI_SALES ORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2

Just go to SE37 transaction, Open above BAPI in display mode.

In tool bar u can see one push button Function module documentation(Last one). Click on that. It opens a popup explaining every thing about this BAPI.

U can follow the same for any function module/BAPI.

But for some FMs u may not found the documentation in English. In this case only way to know on how to use is check the where used list/ search in net for sample code

Where do you have the list of these 2000 items maintained now..?

Apart from a mass upload option, have you looked at maintaining an ITEM PROPOSAL for the customer..

It may be good option

No it is basically for contract to upload 2000 technical objects material + serial number.It's CS topic
