Hi
We are looking at ECC data replication to HANA. The plan of approach is to have entire ECC data replicated to a HANA schema A (thru SLT) and then transform the data from schema A -> schema B. Can someone let us know if there is a way to do it.
Thank you.
Hi Avinash,
There are different ways to do it, however it depends on what tools customer have in place.
1) Data Services: If customer has data services, I would suggest you to use Data Services to perform the transformations and load the data from schema a to schema b.
2) Procedures: If customer doesn't have Data Services and HANA Version is less than SP9 then I would suggest to create procedures in HANA and schedule them to transform the data from one schema to other.
3) EIM: If HANA version is SP9 or greater, then we have SDI and SDQ available in HANA using which we can create transformation jobs and schedule them to load data from one schema to other.
