Material availability date-Mismatch

Hi,

Just now i created the material,increased the stock though 561 Movement type.

Created the sales order,surprised to see material availability date as 14.05.15.But stock is readily available on today's date 12.05.15.

I don't know why system is proposing date as 14.05.2015.Please help me out.

Hi Pradeep,

it is your backward scheduling so system start calculate from requested delivery date 18/05/2015 so that to full fill this requirement material should available on date 14/05/2015.

If you want current date should be your material available date then modify the requested delivery date to near future as per your different lead time like- transit lead time, Loading time, Pick and Pack time, so that it will fall available date is 12/05/2015 and system will check availability on 12/05/2015.

Thanks for your comments.The requested delivery date is 12.05.15.I should mentioned it earlier,forgotten.
