Error when executing Algorithm in PAL 2.0

Hi Everyone,

I'm facing an issue with Expert Analytics 2.0 (SAP Predictive Analytics) when trying to run an algorithm over a table/model in SAP HANA.

My environment is the following:

- SAP PA 2.0.

- SAP HANA SP07 Rev74

- PAL Libraries installed in HANA DB.

- PAL roles AFLPM_CREATOR_ERASER_EXECUTE and AFL__SYS_AFL_AFLPAL_EXECUTE assigned to my user ID in HANA.

The error I get in Expert Analytics is

an error ocurred while executing the query.

error details: SAP DBTech JDBC: [258]: insufficient privilege: Not Authorized.

Am I missing some kind of configuration in HANA or role? I see there are other roles and I assigned it to my user ID but I keep getting same error in Expert Analytics.

Any hints you can provide?

Hi Christian.

Does the user SYS have permissions over the tables you are working with the PAL algorithm? If not try giving SYS (and your user) permissions over those tables.
