SAP HANA One on AWS - root credentials

Former Member

I have installed Rev 091.1; based on SAP HANA SPS9 in an AWS instance. This are going well, but I see a highlight saying, "Default 'ec2-user' SSH login: HANA One instances are now more secure with SSH root login disabled. Customers can now login to the instance using the new 'ec2user' user"

Ok, but what will the password be? I see no indication of how to tell

Thanks

Bob

Hello Bob,

We hope that you have accepted EULA in the browser while setting up HANA One.

This enables ssh to the box with ec2-user using key based authentication method. Please use your private key ( Downloaded as key pair first time at the creation of key pair)

Choose the ppk file (Windows)

Enter use is "ec2-user" and hit enter.

use sudo su to be root user

Please revert if this does not help
