SAP GUI 730 P11 broken connection

Hi Guys,

actually I do face a lot of problems with the connection when a PC is removed from the wired connection to WIFI.

Means ASAP picking the PC from the Desktop station the SAP GUI is broken.

We are running a Windows 7 OS with the newest SP.

Our SAP GUI is 730 P11.

When checking SM21 i got the following error message:

Time	Type Nr  Clt TCode Priority Grp N Text

16:10:12 DIA  001 100

R4  7 Delete session 001 after error 061

Has anybody experienced the same error?

I have already seen some threads related to the Network card or/and in relation to the Firewall.

Hello Alfrons,

You will never get a seamless connection handover when you switch from LAN to Wifi or vise versa.

You will always need to connect again via the saplogon program.

Do you get a SAPgui popup connection broken message or does the sapgui just disappear?

We are getting the following error message: connection to "IP-address" partner 68 broken.

WSAECONNRESET: Connection reset by peer.

Means we can't do anything to give the users a better experience?

This is an OS-level error message - not SAPGUI.

Unfortunately, it just means that you have to reconnect again if switching from wifi to lan.

(as with all applications which use a connection).
