Dump MESSAGE_TYPE_X in Database error changing table ADRV

Hello Experts,

We are getting dumps while running transaction code ME12N. The error is following

Short text of error message:

Database error changing table ADRV

Long text of error message:

Technical information about the message:

Message class....... "AM"

Number.............. 842

Variable 1.......... "ADRV"

Variable 2.......... " "

Variable 3.......... " "

Variable 4.......... " "

How to correct the error

    Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.

    -

    If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to

    find an interim solution in an SAP Note.

    If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following

    keywords:

    "MESSAGE_TYPE_X" " "

    "SAPLSZA0" or "LSZA0U47"

    "ADDR_SAVE_INTERN"

    If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error

    notification to SAP, include the following information:

Information on where terminated

    Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLSZA0" - in "ADDR_SAVE_INTERN".

    The main program was "RSM13000 ".

    In the source code you have the termination point in line 585

    of the (Include) program "LSZA0U47".

    The program "SAPLSZA0" was started in the update system.

I checked on SCN and also found some blogs that refers to SAP Note 445575. But i am not sure how much relevant is the note for this situation and also should i create a report in Production system directly.

Please give your valuable advice for correcting this problem.

Hi Rahul,

Thank you for the update. Have you also checked carefully all resolution points of SAP KBA 1600487

and also the solution section of the SAP Notes suggetsed in it? You may also involve functional team.

Hello Biborka,

Yes i have checked the KBA and with that only i run the report to check the consistency and above attached is the result.

As suggested by Manu, should this needs to be done by basis guy or do i need to forward it to functional team?

If yes then what needs to be informed?

Hi Rahul,

The possible reasons - for the specified symptom - are described in the Cause section of SAP KBA 1600487. You may also involve your functional team in order to solve this issue.

Thank you for the reply.

But i am not getting the problem and in order to involve the functional team, i need to understand the problem and what these reports are doing.

I provided the screenshot of the output of the report. What are these entries?

What needs to be done and how i can see the entries are consistent or not?

Hi Rahul ,

This issue is not a BASIS related issue . You didnt understand because it has nothing to do with BASIS , neither did i or 70% of the BASIS will understand .

The NOTE Biborka suggested is valid to your issue and needs to be consulted with the functional team   for resolution .

Request you not to perform any action if the concerned system is production .

If you are  L1/L2 resource and unsure of how to involve the functional team , please escalate to your BASIS lead .

Hello Manu,

We run the report and the entries were empty into the system. I asked the functional guy he himself replied he do not what this report is and what this table contains. Could you please give me some technical background of this table and use of it?

The cause is explained in the Note

"inconsistent communication data or an issue with the address number range"

Dont know what it is

Thank you for the message!

According to the note specified in KBA. I runned report Z_OSSNOTE_436119 with the option

TESTRUN = 'X' to check the inconsistencies.

But it is not showing anything just.

I also executed the report in client 000. and this it gave the result. What is this result. I executed this with TESTRUN option. What should i do with it?
