Number Of Messages Per Adaptor

Hi all,

is it possible to measure the number of messages in JAVA Stack of a specific adaptor within a specific time period ?

For example: All messages sent via SOAP adaptor in February.

What about the performance-monitor ? Is it able to do just that ?

SAP PI 7.31

No Solution Manager implemented.

NWA--> Availability and Performance --> Resource Monitoring --> System Performance Statistics

Hello Lars,

I think you can do that via the following:

NWA->SOA->Monitoring->PI Message Monitoring

click on advanced and you get some additional fields to search on , such as free selection of time period and technical attributes of messages.

thanks but there's no filter for the adaptors and there is a max count of 1000 !

The default action PI takes is it archives/delete successfully delivered messages, you can stop that by setting an archiving / deletion criteria. SXMB_ADM transaction on a duel stack PI has this configuration setting, which can be set on communication channel, but that increases load on PI.

You may have to consider solman and wily introscope.

I don't know much beyond this, lets wait for someone else to provide their responses.
