Ad-hoc run for SFTP channels

In production SFTP server was unavailable for certain period of time and the rescheduled timings of affected interfaces were shared to the basis team.Later the downtime was extended and basis want to know whether we can run the Adhoc run for the affected SFTP channels.

Hi Ramya,

I haven't heard previously the concept Ad-hoc run for PI scenarios, ad-hoc is a Latin locution that means "For this" or "Specifically". I think your basis team is asking for using that channels manually or with a program to plan the messages stucked. I think you should use the ATP (Availability Time Planning ) for these channels: Polling V/S ATP in SAP PI | SCN
