on/off Export Import capability in XI 3.0

Hi all.

We are working on XI and want to know how to turn on/off Export /Import capability (Design and Configuration Object) in XI 3.0 in Quality and Production system. Please share your thoughts.

Ram,

Dont think there is any straight forward way other than making sure that,

1. Not many users have the export and import rights.

2, Making sure that the OS level access is limited only to the Admin.

Thanks! any idea can we restrict it by the User role. If yes then please let me know what is the role we have to defined.

At OS lavel we already have no permission. We just want to disable and enable the Import and Export Design objects option in Tools menu in Integration Builder and Integration Directory.

Unfortunaltely I dont know the way to do this.

SAP help also does not mentioned the roles needed for this.
