Two Taxes Issue not working in sales order

Hi Expert,

Client have requirement to apply TAXUSJ jurisdiction in pricing procedure. There is also another tax Property Tax to be added for certain custoers and certain customers are exemoted based on location. I created UTXJ condition types with JR1, JR2, JR3, JR4 For proeprty tax I created separate condition type copying UTXJ and added property tax condition copying JR1. FTXP is maintained with S1 and P1 tax for normal sales tax and property tax. VK12 is maintained for UTXJ and Property Tax condition type. Separate access sequence for both. When I am creating sales order for property tax xutomers it is not picking any tax. When creating for exempted property tax it shows UTXJ and also property tax although I have zero tax in VK12 for such property tax customers by adding customer field in access sequence. I could not understandd why for normal customers no tax is shown and for property tax customers it is showing both taxes. Screenshots attached.

In pricing procedure it is not catching Property tax but showing as zero.l VK12 is maintained taxable. UTXJ is all zero as for that product UTXJ is zero.

I think is it due to zero UTXJ and property tax becoes zero. Do you have any idea what should I do to fetch property tax?

.

Hi Hussain,

I have standard tax UTXJ having access sequence UTX1 where TAXK1 & TAXM1 is used. SO JR1 JR2 JR3 JR4 are associated.

For other tax I used TAXK2 & TAXM2 with customer group so few customers are liable for property tax and outside city limit are not liable. Assigned Country US two tax category UTXJ and ZTLH. ZTLH have subsequent ZTL1 which is copy of JR1. Pricing proceduire is also attached.

I resolved the issue & it  is working fine. L0 L1 were removed from UTXJ and corrected to ZTLH. SO my pricing is correct & all friends please use this two pricing for tax jurisdiction. Your thread is very much helpful Again thansk

Hi Hussain,

Appreciate your valued inputs. But I have Tax jursidictions UTXJ and not MWST. It is not working for UTXJ but working only for ZTLH.

What happens that if I maintain VK12 for if Property Tax condition ZTLH  1, 1 it fetches property tax correctly and UTXJ as zero

But when item has only UTXJ applicable still it is catching ZTLH and UTXJ is not working. Pricing analysis shows that UTXJ have 1 & L0 instead of 1 and O1. I think condition category for UTXJ & ZTLH have same 1 so not working. I also tried to change condition category for ZTLH as $ as per standard sap but UTXJ is not working.

UTXJ has access sequence UTX1 and for ZTLH I have ZTX2. Then ZTL1 condition tye is just like JR1.Check if I have to change anything in pricing procedure?

JR1 JR2 JR3...are not working as catching L0 in VK12

Hi

Have you gone through my document referred by Hussain? Have you checked technical names of fields you have used in condition tables? There must be some minor setting that you are missing and you can identify that if you check the technical names of fields closely.

Thank$

Hi MozzaM,

Yes Your document detail is very much helpful. I created TAXK1 & TAXM1 fields in new table &  assigned to my ZTLH condition type, I differently make permutation & combination.

If UTXJ is working --Tax code O1 taxable then another ZTLH is also fetching O0 from FTXP.instead of L0

If ZTLH is working Tax L1 then UTXJ is not working as it is catching tax code L0 (instead ofO0 ) from FTXP.I properly checked field catalogue, access sequence but not successful.

Your priing is not tax jurisdiction based so working fine. It is MWST with simple condition type.whilst I have tax ujrisdiction so very much complex. I shall check with ABAP why it is behaving strange? I shall post once I  get feedback from ABAPer.My both access sequences are different. UTX1-->for UTXJ New ZTX1 with TAXK1 & TAXM1 but behaving like TAXK and TAXM.

Can you suggest what is route cause or any other way to work around?

Appreciate your documents & reply/advice.

Hi,

Further to this for ZTLH I have access sequence with Country, customer group, TAXK1 and TAXM1

Should I add material group for thisproperty tax as per Jyotiprakash/Abhishek thread? How it reolved tha I did not understand well. Please advice.

I have one doubt. If I put Tax as

Tax exempt = 0

Taxable  = q

Instead should I put as 1 & 2. Whether zero is not taken into account as SAP does not understand zero other wise routine 38 should be applied.

1 and 0 works in tax codes. There is no harm in using 0 and 1. For adding material groups its up to requirement and scenario. It is not mandatory to use material group. We can or can't use material group.

I haven't worked on tax jurisdiction codes so I can't comment on this.

Here Property Tax is showing L0 whilst in VK12 I maintained 1 1 taxable

Message was edited by: Prakash Parikh Here Property Tax is showing L0 = zero tax however I maintained L1 means 1 1 Taxable. Is this because UTXJ is zero? Both UTXJ and Property Tax access sequences are different but not resulting to give property tax instead coming zero. Please advise how to get property tax as taxable. What am I missing?
