i5SPCChart - Not able to Add Comment or Suppress Point

I have created an i5SPC Chart and have enabled Allow Point Suppression and Allow Comment Editing available in Context menu Security tab.

I go to my i5SPC Chart, right click on a point outside of control limits and can see Comments and Toggle Point Suppression option always disabled.

Am I missing any configuration?

I can see an option to view All Comments but how to Add/Edit comments.

Can someone help please. I am using MII 15.0 SP3 Patch 7.

Hi Neha,

Can you check what is the mode of  Item selection? Comments and Toggle Point Suppression works when Allow Item Selection is Single for i5SPC Chart.

Also have you provided a Chart Name. That is also required for comments and toggle point suppression.

You will need a field(s) that uniquely defines the actual data point (IDColumns) - in order for comments and suppressed points to be saved/retrieved from the underlying DB.  The ChartName and ChartType are automatically used, but within the associated SPC chart view, you still need something in your dataset that identifies the individual data point.
