No Rules were selected

Hi,

We are on GRC 10. SP13.

When performing risk analysis we are getting no violations ( user selected has SAP_ALL Access in the plug in system),

Then ran batch risk analysis and now getting No Rules were selected.

following step by step from Post installation to 1st risk analysis document.

configuration is done, connectors are linked with Auth scenario.

i downloaded and uploaded the SOD rules and uploaded it to both logical and actual connectors

Generated the SOD rules both in SPRO and NWBC, still issue is not resolved,

I have searched for this forum and found similar issues for other users but have not seen a solution for their problems.

would appreciate if you can let me know what steps am i missing or is this a program error and is there a SAP note to correct the issue, thanks

Regards,

Vijay

Hello Sagar,

Please check if the parameter IGNORE Critical roles and Profiles is Set to YES.

Also Check in NWBC, If you maintained SAP_ALL and other profiles in Ignore Critical Profiles link.

In Addition to the above, Check if this note helps you.

2136010 - Risk Analysis for Critical roles/profiles shows 'No Rules Selected'.

Regards,

thanks Everyone for reply

1951665 - Risk Analysis reports 'No Violations' when RFC has errors

above note suggested by Baithi resolved the issue, when we implemented the note and tested initially it did not show any results but generated the rules again and issue is resolved, thanks

Vijay,

seems that configuration is missing. Are you sure that bc set GRAC_RA_RULESET_COMMON has been activated prior to the rule set? Mostly this is missing and then risk analysis is not working.
