Hello All,
We have the Rest Adapter installed on a decentral adapter engine SP 10. Our central and decentralized are both on SP 10. So no support pack mismatch issues.
When I use the rest adapter as sender and receiver the interface works fine.
But when I switch the sender adapter to a soap adapter and use the wsdl the soapui fails with XISOAPApps authentication error.
Other soap to soap scenario works too.
Any clue why this behavior? We are using a user with all admin rights ...
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Rahul
Hi Rahul,
Check below FAQ sap note.
SAP Note 856597 - FAQ: XI 3.0 / PI 7.0/7.1/7.3 SOAP Adapter
Q: I get an authorization error "401 Unauthorized" from the
adapter's servlet. What went wrong?
The user must be assigned one of the following roles SAP_XI_IS_SERV_USER,
SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER, SAP_XI_DEVELOPER_J2EE,
SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR_J2EE.
Make sure one of the above mentioned roles assigned to the user.
Regards,
Praveen.
