EM queues

Hi All,

We have copied the std. activity function module /SAPTRX/TMS_CHANGE_EXEC_INF to send execution information to TM.

The queues are formed with name EM_FO#.

However, we noticed that queues are bundled. Meaning., there are many more queue entries in one queue.

I believe this can happen when there are mass processing of IDOCs or Documents.

How do we handle this ? Should we add an addition "in separate unit" here ?

Hi Deb,

Can you check this

We have already discussed many topics from SAP ECC to SAP EM approach to have multiple queues? If the above document couldn't help, then you can try to implement same logic how ECC to SAP EM queue extractors to use to split the queues (check in our forum).

However, this is a little tedious job but not complex.

Hi Deb,

no, I do not think that "in separate unit" will help here. All queues are bundled which result from the same transaction in EM. To break this up you could process less event messages in EM in one transaction.

Best regards, Daniel
