Error with RSA1 in IDES system

Hi All,

This is my IDES system, with ECC6.0 EHP 5, on mssql 2005,  i created a client 500, and did a local client copy from 001, whenever i try running RSA1, i am getting the below error

you can only work in client 800

You can only work in client 800

Message no. BRAIN009

Diagnosis

Your SAP BW system can only operate in client 800.

Procedure

Log on in client 800.

how do i resolve this, i don't know how do i login to client 800?, i tried with sap* pass but no go, please let me know how do i get this fixed.

Hello Mrigank,

To Login with SAP*, please set the profile parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=0 in T-code :- RZ10 nad take the restart of SAP. after that you can login with SAP*.

You can use T-Code BD54 to create the logical system.

Anyways, please have a look.

You can only work in client 000, Message no. BR... | SCN

And for the passwords of IDES sys, you should check note  1761605

Hi Sriram,

Note 122679 is the same link what has been discussed earlier and i already tried with the changes mentioned,  i got the error logical system name has been changed, message no R3206.

any other note or link to go through please let me know.

Please change the corresponding entry in table T000. Implement this in Tcode SM30, table T000.

Before creating the client 500 Are you using the BW functional  in 800 client ?

Hi Sriram,

No i did not use the client 800 at all, when i tried accessing RSA1 then i got the error which i have mentioned already.

Hi Mrigank,

Follow the below steps to enable the RSA1 in 500 client.

- Run the transaction se37

- run the report RS_MANDT_UNIQUE_SET

- Set the value 500 in the field i_mandt

execute the report.

Hi Mrigank,

Follow the below steps:

1. Create a logical system in BD54

    <SID>CLNT500.

2. Add the logical system to the client 500

    - Run the transaction SCC4

    - Click on edit and double click the 500 client

   -  Enter the Logical system

Already the logical system exists in BD54, it has been already assigned to client 500 in SCC4, so the above steps have already been done as and when i created this client.

Can you paste the screenshot of the error.

Kindly let me know steps which you are performing.

Also do paste the screenshot of RSBASIDOC table enteries.

- Run the transaction se16

- Enter the table name RSBASIDOC

- hit enter and execute

I think you have to replace the existing Logical system through FM RSAP_BIW_CONNECT
