Immediate send of mails

Hi everyobdy, we are having a special need from our PM team

They need that ERP send an email immediately at the moment when an alert is generated

Send job in scot tc is scheduled each 2 minutes but this is not enough for them, we don't want to launch every 30 sec or something like that the job because it will generate a large log queue in sm37

Is there any way to launch RSCONN01 program every time alert is generated in ERP?

I have searched in forum but everybody talks about ABAP code, transaction is standard so should we modify it to launch mail program and immediately send mail?

Hello Juan,

There should be some user exit in the alerting program or mechanism in the alert program to call other abap program. Use that to call RSCONN01.

Why do you think there is an issue having a huge job log, you can specify a special daily job log clearing specifically for that program name to keep the daily job log count down.
