Good Afternoon,
We are using content server version 4.6 with file storage to the content servers and have a ew that are showing errors if they are attempted to be saved to disk from the documents. They also show up on the KPRO CHECK report we use.
Does anyone know how to recover documents that are shown as OK in the DIR, yet will not download?
Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
Thanks,
John
Dear John,
Can you check on your Content Server, If the documents that seems to be there in the SAP system are actually there in the Content server ?
Had you performed any Content Server Related MIgration / Copy in the past ?

Hi S S B,
The file is there in compressed form in the content server repository folder / subfolder. We did migrate the repository to a new server a little while back. The repository is very heavily used and this is the first issue reported since migration.
So, we have the DIR and the file is on the server. I read a note that referenced document recovery, but it was for 4.7 version content server. The KPRO check report indicated it is missing.
I suppose a better wat to put the issue is how to reconnect the DIR to the file?
Thanks,
John

John,
To be frank, i never came across this type of issue, but i was checking with my colleagues and online, here is what i found. There are some SAP OSS notes, hope this may be helpful to solve.
SAP Notes 368035,350298,358769.
John,
Let me understand your question: You have upload some documents into the content server and while you are trying to retrieve/store on your PC, you are getting some errors, right?
Do you have access to change the DIR?
Please check the authorization:

Please add screenshot of those errors.
