Search within an extension field

Hi,

  We have added a new extension field on the opportunity general overview- using the key user function - we would like users to be able to search for content as they do other fields such as account - i.e. enter a part of the name in order to pick up all possible options as opposed to have to enter the first few letters - e.g.

user enters each  and will be returned both Peaches and Eaches

Currently if the user enters each - only Eaches would be returned - but this is not the case for the standard object fields.

Can we achieve this outside of the sdk toolkit?

What happens when you use *Eaches or *Each* as a search string?

Hi,

  Thanks for the reply - nothing happens - the * is not recognised as such.  the search does work as expected on the ipad version of the system, just not on the desktop.
