Export Webdynpro ABAP table Data to 95 Workbook Excel format

Hi All,

I have a requirement were I need to download internal table data to excel file in 95 Excel Workbook format in Webdynpro.

Right now I can download  and view the file in excel, but the file is stored as UTF-16 format, but I need this in 95 Excel workbook format.

I am using attach_file_to_response method with mime type 'EXCEL'.

Excel 95 Workbook format is '.XLS' , Do you wants to store in this format ?

Hi Gowtham,

I want to store the file in Excel 95 Workbook File type format.

When I am downloading it is in '.XLS' but if i check the file type it is UTF-16.

I want to know the conversion technique to Excel 95 workbook format.
