SMD Monitored Setup

HI

I have done the SMD installation and completed all the activities..

After

Start the SMD Administration application (http://<host>:<port>/smd/admin) and

navigate to tab Managed System Setup and then sub-tab Setup Managed Systems.

The the System is visible but it says "No J2EE Engine to setup for SAP NETWEAVER 2004S"

However my system is BI Java ..

Please help

Hi Prateek,

Also in smdiag_wizard you probably see only one instance (abab).

I think the definition in the SLD is incorrect. Did you run RZ70?

Make sure BI is selected as a installed product and make the J2EE part relevant in SMSY.

Hi,

Please have a look to SAP Notes 987835, and verify if your definition(SLD or manual) is correct.

Go through the attached PDF in the note 987835 SMSolutionSetup.pdf

This would solve the issue

Hi Prateek,

Did you find a solution to this....I get the same error except it's for xi:

"No J2EE Engine to setup for SAP EXCHANGEINFRASTRUCTURE 3.0"
