Is it possible to add voice over audio to steps?

I'm creating an animated How-to video with voice-over. Is it possible to add the audio in VE or do I need to comp it together in Premier?

Hello Dean,

There is a procedure you can try.

In the Scene tree you have the Media folder. On this with RMB you can select "add media file ..." and choose your voice file.

In any step with RMB you can go in the advanced tab and select the media to play and in this case you can choose any voice file loaded before.

This procedure works fine with the interactive animation, I never tried with a video production.

That works great, but when I output it as an AVI file...no audio. I didn't see any options concerning audio. Maybe its not possible.

If not, its not the end of the world...it will just take a little longer to get my timings down and comp in premier.

Hello Dean,

Did you tried with MP4 output ? For converting video in to mp4 u need video codec ffmpeg.
