Dear Gurus,
There is LPD installed on their ERP server, so we are using U : Method.
Destination Host : xx.xx.xx.50 , telnet 515 is working and Ping is working as well. (From related Server)
Device Type : ZI9SWIN : el 3.0E+/SAPlpd 4.00+ Turkey
Spool Server : SAPXXXX_XX_00 (There is only 1 app.server and it is ok)
Customer returns as "It is not printing, we can not take print"
When check SP01, screen shots are maintaned below ;
What could be the problem ?
Best Regards
Dear Kemal,
if a SAPWIN-Device Type is used, then Access Method U should not be used.
Instead Access Method S should be used with SAPSPrint on the destination host. With Access Method U there is a chance that Windows can not interpret the SAPWIN data stream, instead Access Method S with SAPSPrint should be able to correctly interpret.
Also, please ensure that the printer is connected to a Windows printing environment. SAPSPrint can also only be installed on a Windows environment.
Best regards,
Laszlo

Once try to give print from OS level. If it prints well then look into SAP level.
Once the output request is created, its host spooler (os level) which will process request further. So make sure you are able to print from OS level.
Kind Regards,
Harish

Hi Kemal
As per the snapshot all the spool outputs are released from SAP spool system to Destination host spool sever
You have to check the Destination host spool sever, output printer device are configured? at OS level are you able to take the test page printouts

Try to setup a temporary definition and connection of the printer via a Windows PC and SAPlpd, access methods U or S in SPAD.
