date calculation pb - formula of type Date (found: integer ) HDB 01057

I would like to create a calculated measure that would take a monthly number and turn it into a daily number. I have a field Production_Date that I would like to find the last day of the month and use that to divide into another field called monthly_S&OP.

I have tried to just get the last day of the month and keep getting an error:

Here is the formula I am trying to use: Day(LastDayOfMonth({Production_Date}))

What is your date format from the original data

Day(LastDayOfMonth({Column_0})) works for me when column_0 contains date values in mm/dd/yyyy format.

Thank you Tony Foster.  Not sure why I didn't think of that.  My date format was mm/dd/yy.  Still very new to Lumira

what's your data source in this case?  is this a 'download from hana' scenario?

pls. could you provide some information about your versions here?  desktop SP &  datasource DB  for example.
