SAP BO Upgrade

Hi all,

Please advice me how to migrate the security, users and groups from BO 3.1 and 4.0 to 4.1.

My client has reports in SAP BO 3.1 and anothers in SAP BO 4.0, and the users are the same for some reports.

Now is intended to upgrade both versions to SAP BO 4.1.

We know we are able to migrate the security from BO 3.1 to 4.1 and from 4.0 to 4.1 without issues, but since we need to migrate both and some users are common there is any problem or the upgrade do the merge of security settings?

Our approach will be upgrade first 4.0 to 4.1 and then from 3.1 to 4.1 but we are concerned about any users conflict.

there is no auto way to merge users from 2 diff environments/versions into a single environment.

You'll have to manually address those users that won't normally migrate using UMT.
