Need to Configure Firewall for Google Maps

HI,

We are facing a firewall issue for the below mentioned URL. This is sync outbound interface.

Host: maps.googleapis.com

Port: 80

Path: /maps/api/distancematrix/xml

Network team is asking for the static IP and I dont think we can use any static IP for the same. I have found out one page on web which is helpful but still facing need some more information to solve the issue.

Hi Sherwin,

Definitely this is not a PI developer problem. As far as I know they can use dynamic DNS for their rules (Static vs. dynamic IP addressing - Fiber Help). Static IP filtering is not a good protection rule as google said in the question Static IP Addresses and App Engine apps (https://cloud.google.com/appengine/kb/general#static-ip)
