ManufSerialNo. in delivery

Hi gurus,

when entering the serial number (ITOB-SERNR) in delivry, is it possible to maintain the ManufSerialNo. (ITOB-SERGE) in the same screen?

I do not want to enter serial number (ITOB-SERNR) in delivry and to maintain the ManufSerialNo. (ITOB-SERGE) in a seccond step with IE02 or IQ02.

Hi Mike,

It is not possible to enter Manufacturer serial number at Delivery. The serial number which you entered in Delivery is a unique combination of Material. This also captures historical data which cannot be done with Manufacturer serial number.

Manufacturer serial number is just a free text and it has not control on Serial number history. IQ01 will always captures ITOB-SERNR
