inconsistency between MIGO document serial number and stock

There is a inconsistency between MIGO document serial number and stock

available serial number but we could not understand how this

inconsistency occurred.

Now we are not able to post the UD for this MIGO, as we are getting

error

as “stock data of serial number XXXX not suitable for movement.

We have made changes in the serial no through IQ02 post MIGO.

So now we are unable to move our stock from Quality to Unrestricted.

Dear Ravi,

Error message clearly indicating that stock data of serial number not suitable for the movement i.e. the same serial number might user has assigned to the same part number earlier ??

so kindly check in IQ02 with respect to the part number and serial number then click on the history you can able to find whether you already used or not !!! if used ask the user to cancel the GRN document and redo the same with different serial number..

if not used then check the status of the serial number if the serial number status has ESTO and AVLB system will allow you

Venkatesh..

Hi,

You can use report RISTEQ07 to repair the serial numbers.

Refer to the note 894188 and the documentation in SE38 for details about this report.

Kind regards,

Natália

Hi Ravi,

Though not related, but you can check one of our discussion thread here -

http://scn.sap.com/thread/3662432

Thanks to all original contributors of the above thread!! Also, please can you check 'Stkck" option in Tx OIS2 to be selected as "W" or "E" like below -

Before changing through IQ02, please can you check for one time if this setup helps.

Thanks,

Arijit

Lots of things how the system behaves depend upon baseline configuration. Could you please check what setting you have maintained in OIS2 for serial number profile? Whether MMSL and QMSL serialization profiles are maintained as obligatory?

I am unable to get what exact inconsistency occurred? You specified serial numbers at the time of MIGO posting but when checking in MMBE the serial numbers are not assigned? You also mentioned that you did some changes to serial numbers using IQ02. Whats is the current status of these serial numbers? Does it reflect ESTO 02?

Dear,

Kindly reverse the inspection lot and do fresh GRN for the same.

Could you kindly show the changes done to serial no using IQ02 post MIGO?

Pardhu
