unknown host.

Hi all,

when i execute the SOLMAN_workcenter t-code in solution manager 7.1 sp10, the browser is opening with the below Error .. 

Unknown Host

Description: Unable to locate the server named "Hostaname.domain.com" --- the server does not have a DNS entry. Perhaps there is a misspelling in the server name, or the server no longer exists. Double-check the name and try again.

I have maintained the ip address and the server name in the host file as well.

please advise?

Hi Kittu,

Could you please maintain host entries as like

127.0.0.1  localhost.localdomain  localhost
<IP of server>  < FQDN Host Name>

Save the entries & check again.

Hi Kittu,

Do maintain this entry in your desktop/laptop where your accessing the Solman workcenter and also check your proxy settings too if any Client proxy or you can keep "automatically detect settings in IE" if your within network.

Let us know the outcome.
