How to change default portal theme only for selected users

Hi,

Currently our SAP Portal Default Theme is SAP Tradeshow…

We are evaluating look and feel of different postal themes,Instead of changing the default Portal theme so that it will impact every one…

I want to change portal theme for 4 Portal user from SAP Trade Show to SAP Streamline along with removal of Search option from streamline…..I am sure this can be done using rules

Cal you please let me know how to change the portal theme for only 4 Test users along with removal of search option

Hello,

1. System admin --> system config --> portal display -->create a new deskop

2. Add the Framework page to newly created desktop by right click-->add frameworkpage to desktop.

3. Add the SAP streamline theme to dektop.

4. Now create a new group and add the 4 users  and open the Rule collection create  a new like

  if group = xyz

   then desktop = newly created desktop

Hello there,

you should have a look at the master rule collection. There you can set display rules for users, groups, roles etc. So you could just add a group of users and assigned them the portal theme through a portal desktop there.
