BRM-No Role Creation

Hi gurus,

I have just upgraded my GRC 10.0 to SP18 and when I access to create a new role in the NWBC, the button is in grey, I mean, I can not start the creation of it. However, I can modify the roles without problems.

Any idea of what can be happening?

Hi John,

Sounds like you are missing a GRC role assignment which authorizes you to create a new role.

Check to make sure you have the Role Design object, GRAC_ROLED, with the necessary activity values.   Might also check the Role Mass Maintenance object, GRAC_RLMM.  These are found in standard GRC role SAP_GRAC_ROLE_MGMT_ADMIN.

Also check the Role Management configuration parameters (3000-3027) in SPRO.  Or Role Methodology Process and Steps in SPRO.
