In order to connect solution manager to OSS means you need to configure the systems in solution manager using T-code SMSY.

After configuring you need to configure maintanace optimizer in solution manger.while configuring you need to specify the your S user id.

The above links will help you.

Hello Dimitry,

Do you have any other system already connected to the OSS, check in /nOSS1->Parameters->Technical settings

Check SAP note 35010 Service connections: Composite note (overview)

Hi Dimitry,

you mean for maintenance optimizer?

See transaction SPRO - SAP Reference IMG:

Search for activity "Connection to SAP" with subnodes

Maintain User for Communication with SAP Service and Support Systems

Check New Connections to SAP.

Hi Dimitry,

one way to test it would be to go to the tab 'System Data in SAP Support Portal' for on of your systems in transaction SMSY.

Hi Dimitry,

you have to configure Maintenance optimizer and from there when you click your system in your solution landscape, it will connect and open the SAP market place if your SAPOSS connection is working.

Do revert for more clarification.

P. Kumaravel.

Ps: award points for useful answer.

Hi,

for opening SAP market place in the browser you don't have to configure an RFC-connection. Neither SAPOSS nor SAP-OSS. This is done via a http request.

Hi,

The browser opens via http request, but the connection and authentication happens via the RFC`s. SO if the RFC`s are not configured the browser will open with a page cannot be displayed.
