SAP PI7.1 system copy post steps

Hi,

We are planning do to system copy for PI7.1 system from PRD to QUA.  I am trying to find some SAP Notes for Post steps.

what are the major post steps to perform in system copy apart from Background job suspend , cut the RFC connection and configuration wizard,etc..

I have gone throug below notes, but still i need more information about the communication channel to de-active and how I can bring the step of QUA.

1299373 - Configuration Wizard: PI System Copy

1309239 - Configuration Wizard: PI NetWeaver initial setup

Platform: SAP PI7.1

OS        : AIX

Database : Oracle 11G

Hi Ram,

Thanks for the some steps to check, but my question is there are thrid party connection will exit after refresh from production and lot of communication channels are configured.So QUA should connection those system to pick any real time data will cause major issue. Therefore I need to revert back the setting in QUA connection like FTC etc.. should connect like before after refresh. provide those kind of information if you have...

Hello BM,

you can use Channel Availability Timings configuration to stop key third party related channels to ensure no data is being transferred during copy.
