Hello gurus,
When transfer BOM to GTS, we got two values in product master under price tab:
Valuation type PROD_PRICE: 1000USD (valude is same to standard price in ECC material master)
Valuation type NET_COST: 900USD (where it is from?)
Can you please tell the difference between above two? In most cases, those two types have same values in product, but sometimes they are different.
Thank you,
Ryan
Ryan,
Based on your comments above - you might want to check and see the below options:
Price calculation might be happening under User Exit - SLLLEG04 using custom enhancement.
Another section you need to check is - GTS configuration
SPRO - Global Trade Services - General Settings - Define Price Types
--> Standard SAP gives 2 price types as a default.
Prod_Price
Net_Cost
-->Right below there will be another configuration setting -
Assignment of Price Type from Feeder Systems
Check both the options above and see if any configuration is already made.
Now - for differences between Prod_Price and Net_Cost
Depending on your requirement which price you would like to consider during preference determination
you can assign- Prod_Price for Transaction Value Method
Net_Cost for Net Cost method
If your organization has a clear path in-terms of distinguishing which price to be used for Net Cost method then you can implement and make specific calculation for Net_Cost,
As a default system assigns the same price for both price types.
Please do let me know if anything is not clear. Thanks.

Raj

Hi,
In General, Production Price comes from ECC - Material Master Standard Price.
You can see this value in Accounting View 1 in Material Master.
Product price can be viewed in GTS using Tcode - /n/sapsll/prval_disp.
During Preference Determination, Standard calculation doesnt consider Header BOM price, it considers only component material Price for RVC calculation.
Hope this helps.

Raj
