Userdefined field is not able to edit in all Sales documents

Hiii

Scenario:

User is creating a Sales Quotation and updated the  datas in user derfined field name Terms and Conditions .. After sometimes the user want to edit the Terms and conditions data....But the user defined field is blocked...

Any solutions kindly reply...

Hi,

To edit, go to Tools--->Customization tools--->Settings--->select active check box.

Use CTRL SHIFT B to bring up the UDF management box, there is a bug in old versions that means sometimes these set themselves as inactive
