128-bit RDS Encryption

According to the documentation on help.sap.com (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_me21sp2/helpdata/en/a7/893a5889e08b41b615688b1a93b559/frameset.htm) the data ist encrypted using an 128-bit RDS method.

Where can I find more information about this method?

Is it a Standard algorithm or is it a proprietary development?

Hi Jose,

ME 2.1 uses standard https for encryption. We technically realized this with Java's Secure Sockets Extension (JSSE). Please find more info on JSSE on http://java.sun.com/products/jsse/.
