SAP Personas RFC configuration doubt

Hello Experts,

Need your suggestions on a small doubt regarding RFC Destination (RFC Destination of type “H” (HTTP Connection to ABAP system) which we create while SAP Personas 2.0 Configuration (Configuration guide)

In my scenario of single system landscape, (where I dont have target systems) Do I still need to configure RFC.

I believe as there are no Target Systems in my landscape so far I dont need RFC to be created. As mainly RFC is required when Target Systems are there which needs the communication with Main System.

Main System alone doesnt require RFC to be created. Am I correct with this approach ?

I have attached the screenshot of what RFC configuration I am referring to.

Please help with your suggestions.

You're correct, there is no need for this setting for a single system installation. The only consequence not having it will be the yellow traffic lights in the Personas admin transaction's Configuration Check tool for the target system, but this won't affect functionality.
