exchange data in IDOCS

In my Info system, SAP exchanges data with an external application using IDOCS.

Some objects in SAP like invoices, have attachements (pdfs, excel files..). These attachements are located on a SAP content repository.

Is-it possible to exchange attachements in IDOCS?

Hi Ilham,

As per my understanding, Idoc cannot hold an attachments by itself as this is used for the transnational data.

We can use the link of the content server in the idoc segment and using some custom program we can fetch the attachment and this can be send along with the other information.(Through mail/Other communication).
